Zim's features a wide variety of naturally-based products. Whether you need a product to ease those sore muscles, soften those dry feet and hands, or even to tend wounds, Zim's has got you covered. Zim's carries over 25 naturally-based products. It was created over 60 years ago in Ohio and continues to thrive today.
I was sent a variety pack to review that contains Crack Creme products and Pain Relief Products. Bundled in an adorable blue satchel, this would make a great gift pack.
Zim's Crack Creme
I received a 2.4 fl oz bottle of the original liquid formula. This was originally made to help cement workers treat their dry, cracked hands and feet. It is a sprayable arnica and myrcia oil. Just spray and rub in several times a day as needed. The oil will help heal those cracked heels. The scent is a cross between a type of cough medicine and chap stick. I know that sounds weird but it is not unpleasant.I also received the creamy daytime formula that comes in a 2.7 fl oz tube. It's a lotion based formula and rubs in just like a typical lotion. It has a pleasant scent as well. It's almost like an herb or even a bit like citrus. Very hard to describe but I enjoy the scent. You apply liberally several times a day as needed. It's meant for daytime but I actually rub it on and put socks on before going to bed so it can do it's magic while I sleep.
I was also sent the pain relief products. I immediately thought of my husband when I received these. He is always complain of his back aching and is always asking me to rub pain relievers on it for him.
Zim's Max-Freeze Gel
This is a decent sized 4 oz tube of pain relief gel. It provides a cooling sensation with a topical analgesic formula to relieve those achy muscles and joints. Some of the natural ingredients include aloe, arnica, Vitamin E and tea tree oil.
Zim's Max-Freeze Roll-On
This comes in a 3 fl oz bottle with a roller on the top. I like this one because it means no creme has to touch my hands. I can simply open up the top and roll onto my hubby's back.
Zim's Maximum Heat Roll-On
Even though this is the last thing I'm mentioning, it was the first one we tried. It contains capsaicin which helps with arthritis, stiffness, backache, strains and sprains. I applied it to my hubby's lower back and he felt the heat right away. He said that it lasted for hours and did help with the pain and allowed him to move more freely. The funny part was when he came home from work and took his shower. The water re-activated the heat and he felt it all over again. I would try on a small area first to make sure that your skin can handle the capsaicin. My hubby said it was intense and he uses pain relievers on his back often.Try to alternate between hot and cold and see if that helps with your pain relief.
You can find Zim's products at most major retailers in North America. In my area, I can pick them up at Wal-Mart, CVS, and Target.
Check out Zim's product line, as they have much more than what I've reviewed here.
