0 YouCopia: Spice Stack Review
Is your new years resolution to get more organized? Why not start in the kitchen? YouCopia offers organization for your spices, K-cups and medicines. If you are like me, you have all the spices jumbled together in a pantry or cabinet. Then you have to go digging to find the right spice.
I get the opportunity to review the Classic SpiceStack. It retails for $29.95 and holds 24 spices. You can store it up in a cabinet, on your counter, on a shelf, or anywhere you may need to store your spices so that they are out of the way. The SpiceStack has 3 drawers, that hold 8 spices each. You simply place them in the alotted slots and can pull them out one drawer at a time to grab the spice you need quickly.
The drawers slide out easily and rest at an angle downward, so you can see each one easily. The slots can hold 2 different sized bottles, with the larger bottles toward the back and the smaller ones toward the front. I chose to store mine on my counter and it's freed up a lot of space, because I had many spices just sitting in a group on the counter. I would just shuffle them back and forth as I needed room. Both my mom and mother-in-law store theirs over the stove. This would work out great there too, because of the drawer's design. You could easily pull the drawer out and down to grab your spice and close the cabinet back up.
If you have more than one, you can stack them on top of each other. There are also sheets of labels that come with, so you can label the front of each drawer marking what is inside. This is especially handy, because you don't have to even pull out a drawer to find what you are looking for. One page is pre-filled out with more common spices and one page is blank that you can print your own with your home printer.
YouCopia has different sizes available. I reviewed the SpiceStack that holds 24, however they also have ones that hold 12, 18 and 30. The design that I reviewed is white, but they also have a silver / black edition in the 18 spice size.
YouCopia doesn't just offer organization for spices. They also have ones that hold individual coffee and medicines. I urge you to check them out. The Classic that holds 24 spices is perfect for my household, but I know if my collection of spices grows, I can always get another and stack it with it.
These make a great addition to your kitchen and fit right into your "get organized" resolutions.
They can be found at several retailers such as Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. You can also buy them online through Amazon.
