My thoughts:
With kids making messes, this Drive car garbage can has been so helpful for us. I did receive it at no cost in exchange for my honest opinion and we've been putting it to use. My goal when getting my new car, is to keep it as clean as possible. With kids, that is asking too much. We've implemented this garbage can and they actually help me keep the car clean and use it to throw away bits of trash. It's made of a sturdy nylon type material that is flexible. There were some disposable liners included. You can buy more of the liners when you run out. What I've started doing is re-using plastic grocery bags. It can stand on it's own, but you really should anchor it to something so it doesn't tip over. The best place is behind the head rest. There is an adjustable strap with clasp that allows you to affix it to the back of the head rest or console easily.
I know it's not what it's made for, but we started using it for a "basket" on my daughter's bicycle. We just wound the strap around the handlebars, so that it is snug and she can bring snacks, water and her phone to listen to music while she rides her bike around our block. The material is easy to wipe clean if there is a mess. So, now it has been going back and forth between being used on the bike and in the car, but it is getting a lot of use from our family.
