1 Vimtag Camera for Pets

My thoughts:
This is a game changer. Now that we have this Vimtag camera, we can keep an eye on our pets when we are away. When we go on vacation or are away for a couple days, we have someone come in to feed the cats and change the box. They are taken care of but that doesn't meet we don't miss them. We have 2 cats, one adult and one kitten.
This camera connects via a network cable, or WIFI. You can access the camera from any computer or by using the Vimtag app on your phone/tablet. For whatever reason, I can only get mine to connect via the cable. It absolutely will not recognize my WIFI, no matter what I try. This does limit me, as I have to keep the camera within the reach that the ethernet cable will allow. I have it in my living room but can't move it beyond that unless we figure a fix for the WIFI problem.
That being said, with it connected via the cable, I have instant connection and have had no problems accessing via the website and the app. I've actually went on a few times while out shopping, running errands to the app just to take a look and see how the pets were doing. I can definitely see this becoming habit.
You have a lot of control of the camera, as you can control it remotely to move in all directions. You can record video and take pictures at command. (There is a slot for an SD Card for storage) It can be set up to record all the time, or during a set period of time. You can also set it to be motion activated. For instance, when it detects motion, you can have it record for a certain amount of time. It can sense the lighting and switch between day light and night vision lighting easily. Even where I have mine in the living room, there is a light part of the room where the lamp is and a dark part of the room. As the camera is moved back and forth, I have it set to auto, so it will switch back and forth between day and night vision.
The camera did come with a mounting bracket, but I just have it sitting on a table.
So far, we are very happy with our new Vimtag camera. I like the sense of security with the ability to check on my animals while we are away.
