Luxury Queen-Sized Sheet Set
I was excited to try out the Tencel sheet set because I've tried other Yorkshire-Mayfair products that have been cotton blends and have always been pleased.
I started doing a little research into Tencel, because I'd never heard of it and it's mind blowing to find out that they are basically made from wood. These sheets in particular are made from eucalyptus trees. Needless to say, going in, I was a skeptic on how soft these sheets would end up being.
The sheet set I recieved is a gray-ish blue color. It includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet and 2 pillowcases.
The set comes in a zippered plastic case. When I first pulled them out of the package and felt them, I was amazed. It completely took me by surprise how soft they were. I immediately had to go to my hubby and make him feel them too. He was equally impressed.
The sheets are not only soft but have a sateen appearance. Out of the package, they were holding onto wrinkles for dear life. I checked for washing instructions and they can be machine washed, so that is the first thing I did. They got a good wash and dry, then I put them on my bed.
The pockets can handle beds up to 16 inches. I have a 15 inch pillowtop and always have problems with getting sheets to fit, so this was perfect. They actually fit perfectly all around without any areas that were too loose or too tight.
My hubby and I both love these sheets. As soon as he laid down he said he wished he had a comforter made of the same material. They did hold wrinkles from where we slept but remained very soft. With the silky type sheen to them, they don't attract lint and dirt bits. They felt amazing to sleep on.
I am truly amazed at how incredibly soft these sheets and that they are made of wood. I had never heard of Tencel before but will definitely be seeking them out now.
