0 Purrfect Puzzles Review and Giveway Ends 01-17

Are you a puzzle lover?
Do you like a challenging puzzle of 1000 pieces?
Do you love beautiful art in puzzle form?

I have found a fantastic company that sells stunning 1000 piece puzzles. Purrfect Puzzles has so many beautiful choices. When I was browsing their selection, at first I immediately looked to the fairy puzzle - Fushia Faerie in the celtic collection. It's absolutely beautiful. As you can tell by my site name, I adore fairies.

As I was going through them, the Red Dragon puzzle caught my eye and I fell in love. This is going to be so much fun to put together. It's 1000 pieces and measures 19" x 26 "

"In the Welsh story of Lludd and Llefelys, the Red Dragon fights with an invading White Dragon. His shrieks cause women to miscarry, animals to perish and plants to become barren. Lludd, king of Britain, goes to his wise brother Llefelys in France for advice. Llefelys tells him to dig a pit in the centre of Britain, fill it with mead, and cover it with cloth. Lludd does this, and the dragons drink the mead and fall asleep. Still wrapped in their cloth, Lludd imprisons them underground in a stone chest at Dinas Emrys in Snowdonia. This tale is one of eleven Mabinogion tales which draw on pre-Christian mythology, international folklore motifs and early medieval historical traditions.

I was also sent the Sainte Chapelle puzzle and it is also so beautiful. The detail is intricate and challenging. I love these types of puzzles. There are so many little lines and shapes to match up. I tend to go for these types of puzzles rather than landscapes or scenery. This puzzle is also 1000 pieces and measures 19" x 26 "

"La Sainte-Chapelle - “The Holy Chapel” - is a Gothic chapel on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris, France. It was built between 1244 and 1248 and is perhaps the high point of the full tide of the rayonnante period in Gothic architecture. The Sainte-Chapelle, the palatine chapel in the courtyard of the royal palace on the Île de la Cité, was designed to house precious relics: Christ’s crown of thorns, the Image of Edessa and thirty other relics of Christ. Later, a piece of the True Cross and other relics were added. Thus the building in Paris, consecrated on the 26th April 1248, was like a precious reliquary: even the stonework was painted with medallions of saints and martyrs in the quatrefoils of the dado arcade, which was hung with rich textiles. The most visually beautiful aspects of the chapel, and considered the best of their type in the world, are its stained glass windows, for which the stonework is a delicate framework. Rose windows were added to the upper chapel in the fifteenth century.

I am one of those obsessed puzzlers. When I start, it's really hard to stop. I'll stay hunched over a puzzle for hours. These are sure to keep me busy for a while. There are so many more great puzzles that Purrfect puzzles offers. It would be a great gift item also. I have a family member who loves puzzles and I'm sure she'd love one of these for her birthday coming up. I think she'd love the Courting peacocks puzzle because it's so colorful.
