Simple 10-minute set up
You can easily connect this video baby monitor securely to your home Wifi network and smartphone in under 10 minutes. First, connect the camera to a power supply and your home router. Second, download the free App for your device. Then tap "Add Device" and enter the camera ID (located on the bottom of the camera) into the app, and press "Finish". That's it! You can then unplug the camera and move it anywhere in the house. A more detailed set of instructions is included with the packaging.

The official SnugCam App is available for free download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. That means you can use this baby monitor easily with your iPhone. Once you've downloaded the app, all you need to do is enter the camera ID, and you'll be set to use and control the SnugCam with your smartphone, tablet or PC from anywhere.

My thoughts:

This is the second in-home camera I've owned and it's a completely different company as the first. Overall, I have to say, it not only met up to my standards, but every part of the process is easy and convenient.
We use our cameras as pet-cams so we can keep an eye on our animals while away. We are about to go on vacation again and even though we have someone keeping an eye on our house, we miss our animals and want to look in on them.
Setting it up was incredibly simple. You screw on the antenna, plug in the power and connect the cable to the router.
Download the app and connect to LAN. Now you can setup your wireless, that was as simple as clicking on the wifi settings and putting in our password. The camera / app did the rest. You can set up a unique password for your own access, which I would recommend, so that only you have access.
You can hear audio as well as being able to speak through the speakers through the app. It really freaks our cats out when we do that.
You can easily rotate the camera by touching the screen while streaming live. There are options along the bottom to change the visual settings, take pic or video. When the camera is moved to an area with poor or no lighting, it will switch automatically to infrared mode so you can see in the dark. The infrared setting can be turned off also.
You can insert a micro-SD card into the back to have pictures and video saved to it. Play with the settings, as you can be alerted by email or through the app as well when there is sound or movement. We have tested this out thoroughly and it works great.
I did receive this camera at a discount, in exchange for my opinions and we love it. It is hands down better than our previous one. The settup and use is seemless. With it connected to WIFI, I can put it anywhere in the house I want.  Right now, I have it in my kitchen.
