My thoughts:

These tongs are definitely an upgrade from what I was using before. Not only are they attractive with their red silicone and stainless steel design but they are comfortable to use.

There are silicone pads along the handle, and the tongs are silicone. Silicone can withstand very high temps without getting hot, which helps protect your hand. You can use up to 480 degrees ,but I doubt I'd us them for anything that hot. At least you don't have to worry about the silicone getting damaged or melting in high temps.

What I found unique about these tongs is the size. They are rather short, so better for use in the kitchen, rather than grill . I have a pair of tongs with silicone ends that someone had got me in the past but the problem was the length and manageability. With these tongs, They are short enough that when you squeeze them together, you have more control of the grip. You can use them in the skillet, deep fryer or oven.




There is a piece at the end with a silicone ring. You can actually pull that piece out and that will lock the tongs closed. That makes it great for storage, taking up less room in your utensil drawer. I received this pair of tongs in exchange for my honest review of them.
