My take on it:
I tried this product out as an occasional bike rider. There is no professional riding of any sort going on here. Honestly, my teen rides her bike much more often than I do.
When I saw everything this bicycle computer can do, I was definitely intrigued. Up to this point, I was limited to whatever I could get with apps on my phone.
The MeasuPro wireless bicycle computer measures the speed, time, calories burned, and distance. These things can also be measured with apps, however this computer also includes a heart rate monitor which sets it apart. I like that I can do all these things and choose to leave my phone at home. No more need to be attached to my cell for bike rides.
We keep our bicycles outside, so I didn't want to commit to installing this permanently to the bikes we currently have. I did try this out with an indoor stationary bike and have played with the heart rate monitor with indoor activity.
I am very excited and inspired to get us new bikes that we will now keep indoors and I will afix this permanently to it when we get them soon. For now, I am using it indoors and it works great.
