0 Dryer Balls

Dryer Balls are so beneficial. I have been using them for years. The main reason is that I was tried of using the dryer sheets that have chemicals in them. Why expose your family to that when you can reduce static and drying time naturally.
I received the 6 pack that comes with a cute cloth bag that is tied off with wool string. What a cute touch.
Using them is so incredibly simple. You toss them in with your laundry in the dryer instead of dryer sheets. It recommends 3 for a small load and all 6 for a large load. With my family of four, they are all large loads.
I see other reviews complaining of the odor. They do have an odor when you initially get them. To me, it reminds me of the smell of opening a bamboo pillow for the first time. It went away after a couple loads and did not transfer to the clothing at all. My clothes came out smelling fresh.
There is a suggestion on the packaging that you can add some essential oil to the dryer balls if you would like and I can't believe I'd never thought of that before. I am doing that now with my loads that have bedding and it makes them smell great.
I'm a firm believer in using dryer balls. They do start to "pill" or pull apart a little in places over time but I find that they work even better when that starts to happen. I've had issues with losing them between the clothes travelling in baskets to the kids rooms and such, so I would recommend that you get a backup set.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
