These spatulas come in two different sizes and are made a a soft silicone material. Up to this point, we've used the cheap spatulas that you get in the bargain bins. I was excited to give these a try. Out of the package, I really like the light blue color. We have so many colors in our kitchen, with a large portion of them being pastel, so these are right at home.

The silicone gives you a soft flexible feel while you can feel the hard skeleton underneath. Either end can bend very easily. All other silicone spatulas that I've ever had, have had hard handles with a soft head. I really enjoy having the entire thing made up of the silicone. It allows for a grip that is very comfortable.

Why choose silicone over traditional plastic? For the most obvious reasons, this silicone spatula set is heat resistant up to 500 degrees, so you can use it for all of your cooking, even something boiling on the stove, or fresh out of a hot oven.  Even if you are using it to stir in a hot pan and have to walk away, you don't have to worry about the heat ruining it.

The other great thing I like about them is that they are non-stick. That makes it incredibly easy to get every last bit of batter from a bowl or even tackle stickier foods like peanut butter. This also makes them very easy to clean. You can handwash or use the dishwasher. I was worried about discoloration with the light blue color but I have used them with a few different types of food and haven't experienced any discoloration or marks of any sort.

I'm really pleased with the set and have gravited toward the smaller of the two for the majority of the time that I use them. I have small hands and it fits in my hand very comfortably.
