0 CordSkinz review

We are in the age of technology folks. No denying it and no going back. Our phones are in our hands and earbuds in our ears. One of the issues with wearing earbuds is storing them without their cords getting all tangled up. You put them in your pocket, only to pull them out later and spend forever getting them untangled.
I was very intrigued by this product line. Cordskinz brings you a covering for your earbud cords, so that they won't get tangled, not to mention are stylish. I received two pair, one in lavender and one in glitter pink. They arrived in these cardboard sleeves.

Each pair comes with it's own guide to help you get the Cordskinz onto the wire. There are easy to follow instructions on the side of the packaging sleeve but I'll give you a photo re-cap.
This is the guide.
Lay the earbud cord down into the groove. The Cordskinz has a slit all the way down the length. You put that over the pointy piece, so that the slit is facing the earbud cord.
Just like this.
Now you push through, holding it steady. I got the hang of it pretty quickly.
After you push it through as far as it will go, you will most likely have extra Cordskinz. You can trim the extra off. The pic below shows the two pieces at the top that I cut off.
The cord is still very flexible, and even though there is a slit along the length, it stays put. If by chance it does pull apart or come off, you can use the guide to put it back on again.
I have put this thing through the ringer, You can see my bag with various cords below. I take this everywhere and the cordskinz not only keeps the earbuds from getting tangled with itself, it doesn't get tangled up with other cords either.

If you are noticing them coming off at the ends, you may need to trim a little off the end to give some wiggle room as it bends. The only part that the Cordskinz fits is the small wires that split apart and go to your ears. The part at the bottom that is doubled is too large for the Cordskinz to fit around it. If you do notice your earbuds looking tangled even with the Cordskinz, it's as easy as just holding one of the cords and giving it a gentle shake. Voila, untangled.

The earbuds that I typically use do not have a mic or control button, but if you do, all you have to do is cut it to length on either side of the mic / control button.

I'm a huge fan of this product. I love when I get the opportunity to review something that I am slightly skeptical about before trying out and be pleasantly surprised at how well they work when I do.

They are available in many color options. So style it up. the one pictured in the instructions is the glitter pink and you can also see the lavender at the top in pics.
