Each member of our household has long hair, including myself, 12 year old daughter, 15 year old son and hubby. Needless to say, we are always in need of a good brush.
I love this hair brush set from Hair Symphony because it contains a styling brush and a detangling brush. It also comes in a very stylish zippered cosmetics bag for easy storage.
The styling brush is the type of brush that you see more often when shopping. The teeth have knobby plastic ends so they don't hurt your scalp. They are set into a cushioned rubbery bed so they move with your scalp, and can move through your hair easily. It can be used on dry or wet hair. I really enjoy the red and black design with a comfortable grip, which are my hubby's fav colors and has been claimed as his.
The detangling brush is where the magic happens. The design is a little different, with it's bristles at different lengths which creates a natural flow through your hair, detangling painlessly and effortlessly. The design of the brush itself is interesting. There isn't a separate handle, per say but more of a curvy design that is easy to grip onto. When I use this brush I usually hold it by gripping the entire length of the brush.
Please keep in mind that these are not made for high heat, so do not use with your high heat blow dryer.
There is a lifetime warranty, so if the bristles or handles break, they will replace it.
I'm really pleased with this entire set. My brushes got separated between family members and I have put the cosmetic case to use holding some nail supplies.
