I am not a fan of doing laundry! Then again, there aren't many who do like it. Especially with a family of four, it seems the dirty clothes is unrelenting. Just when you think you've gotten caught up, there's more waiting for you. For instance, I've already done a couple loads today and have about 4 more to go. Tomorrow morning there will be another load between the kids clothes from their rooms and my hubby's work clothes when he gets home.
With my family, that also means there are many stains that need tending to. I go back and forth between buying laundry detergent such as Purex and making my own. The soap that I make myself isn't as strong and doesn't get the stains out as well as Purex. I was excited to try out the Purex OXI because that has a new stain-fighting formula. I put it right to work with my hubby's work shirts. They are bright neon green shirts, so stains jump out. I love the power that the OXI adds to Purex.
Purex with Oxi is so powerful, you can even use it to pretreat stains. Just pour a little onto the stain, rub the fabric together and let sit for 5 minutes before putting into the washer. Then wash with Purex Oxi as usual.
