0 TrueBar Review and Giveaway Ends 08-31

You may remember my post on Bakery on Main granola products. I loved their granola bars and loose granola. Now I get to try a new product of theirs....the Truebar. It is a fruit and nut bar and great step toward healthier eating habits.

Like I mentioned, I am already a fan of the Bakery on Main products and when given the opportunity to try out their new product, I jumped at the chance.

About the product: This bar has nothing to hide with its six exotic flavors that will leave any consumer’s taste buds wanting more. With its clear packaging, consumers are able to see the natural ingredients right in front of their eyes.
This is good news for anyone who follows a gluten free diet, and that’s a growing population. Now it’s not only individuals with Celiac Disease (who must adhere to a lifelong gluten-free diet), but also:
• People with gluten intolerances
• Those with Autism who eat a gluten free casein free (GFCF) diet in an attempt to reduce symptoms
• A growing number of athletes who have adopted a gluten free diet to improve performance
• People who have tried it and stuck with it because they report feeling better eating less or no gluten
• Anyone looking for a quick, healthy snack on the go
Bakery On Main True Bar Gluten Free Granola Bars are a good source of Fiber and Omega 3, made with many low-GI ingredients, non- GMO, dairy and casein free. These bars are also low in sodium with no transfat or cholesterol and certified gluten free and Kosher Parve.
They are available in 6 different flavors:
  • Hazelnut Chocolate Cherry Bar
  • Walnut Cappucino Bar
  • Fruit & Nut Bar
  • Raspberry Chocolate Almond Bar
  • Coconut Cashew Bar
  • Apricot Almond Chai Bar

I had the kids try them out too to get their opinion. First of all, the packaging is great, because I can see exactly what I'm getting. The chunks of fruit and the nuts are clearly visible. Most of them have a sticky type texture which is great for at home or lunchtime but not necessarily a snack to take in the car with you. The coconut cashew bar was the only exception to that. The texture on that is more of a bar and not so sticky.
We did taste each and every one and while I enjoyed them all, the kids had mixed reviews. The kids favorite by far is the coconut cashew bar. My daughter kept asking if I could buy her some more for her lunch at school. I really enjoyed the fruity ones and I think that the raspberry chocolate almond bar is my favorite.
I am trying to eat healthier and snacks like these are a great way to do that. When I charge my body with snacks like this instead of fatty snacks, I really do seem to have more energy and feel better overall. Now I just have to keep up with the exercise and I'll be on top of things.
My overall opinion are that the Truebar snacks taste delicious and make a great addition to my lunch box. My kids love them, which is a huge plus. My only concern with them is that they are sticky, so I will be keeping a close eye on them so that they don't end up making messes.
Go check 'em out online and see all the yummy options they have at Bakery on Main.
