I am a huge fan of Tropical Traditions. I've tried many of their products and I'm always pleased by the quality and functionality. Most Tropical Traditions products are coconut oil based and they have so much more. As a whole, Tropical Traditions makes products that are healthy for you and made from organic ingredients so better for the earth too.
Today I'd like to introduce you to their powdered laundry detergent. I've tried their Oxygen Bleach before where you soak the clothes overnight for those tough set-in stains. The powdered laundry detergent has the oxygen bleach in it also. That way you get that destaining and deodorizing power built in.
This is a powdered detergent and I've steered away from powdered detergents in general for a long time for some reason. I used to buy powdered laundry detergent and would have instances where it wouldn't dissolve all the way in cold water or leave a grit or residue on your clothes. With this powder, I've been using it steady for a week, and in my house that adds up to a LOT of clothes. I haven't seen any trace of the powdered soap or residue after the wash and the clothes come out smelling and looking great.
The container of powdered laundry soap I received was huge(5 lbs). I am so pleased because it's such a large container and you only need to use a small amount. For my regular soiled clothes in my regular washer, I only have to use one scoop, which is 2 oz or 1/4 cup. That is so little that I can keep on using it and know it will last me a while.
You can use it for all temperatures and most types of cloth (not suitable for silk or wool). That includes those high efficiency washers. I still use my regular old washer but one day hope to have a high efficiency one.
You can pick up 5 lbs of the powdered laundry detergent for $16.99 right now and I recommend trying out the Oxygen Bleach Destainer and Deodorizer for those tough stains. I pair the two up to tackle all of my laundry.
One lucky Reader will win their own Powdered Laundry Detergent (5 lbs)
