My take on it:
CrazyCoffee is keeping me happy with the Espresso roast coffee. It is one of three different flavors that I got the opportunity to try and I was surprised the most of it's very rich flavor among them.
Anticipation: This is another first for me to drink Espresso coffee at home starting from it's whole bean form. I'd tried it alone in tiny cups before and even had it added into my late or iced coffee when ordering at big name coffee stores. My impression was that it was going to be intensely bold and very strong.
Smell / First Impression: This was a big surprise for me. I was expecting that extremely strong coffee scent and the aroma I was struck with was more of a bold dark coffee aroma. It wasn't as extreme as I was expecting.
Taste: Again with the surprises. I was expecting to have to use a ton of cream in it to tone down the strong flavor and was pleasantly surprised that my normal amount of creamer was sufficient. It had a nice bold flavor even with the creamer but I can definitely see that perking me up in the morning.
As with the others, this came in whole bean form. I love to grind it right before brewing and that makes for an even more delicious fresh brew....even better when using the french press.
