My take on it:
I've actually never owned a lemon juicer before. Anytime I've needed to have lemon or lime juice, I've hand-squeezed them. Truthfully, it's always been on my list of stuff to get but I just never got around to getting one.
Now that I have this lemon squeezer, I won't go back to hand squeezing again. The product is very simple. It's made of a sturdy stainless steel and is shaped that when the two pieces are pressed together around a lemon / lime, the juice comes out of the holes in the bottom.
We used limes.
I had my daughter and her friend helping and the first try, we put the lime upside down, causing juice to go everywhere when we squeezed it. First timers here and we learned from that mistake. After we squeezed them with the peel side up, juice side down, it went splendidly. The lemon squeezer is easy to use and get a good grip on the handle. After you are done, the limes were squeezed dry. Amazing!
Not much more to say, as this product is simple in nature and it works exactly as advertised. I'm delighted to own it and am looking forward to making my own lemonade over this summer.
