My take on it:
I was so excited when opening up the package containing my blanket. I love the pattern and the soft blue colors. The first thing I noticed was just how incredibly light it is. I weighed it and it's only 1lb 4.4 oz. When folded, it has a handle at the top for easy carrying and a strap that folds down to secure with velcro.
The outside side with the design is a very soft polar fleece material. It is exactly what you'd expect from a fleece blanket. Soft and amazing.
The other side is made of a waterproof PVC material. That material is also soft and flexible. You might find it inside lunch cooler bags or insulated bag.
This makes the blanket a little more firm than cloth only, but still very flexible. It's easy to unfold and refold.
The blanket is huge! It's 5 ft wide and over 6 foot long. For a picnic, kids sports game, concert, or outing, this gives your family plenty of room to sit comfortably. I like that it is waterproof, so if you lay it down on damp grass, you won't feel any of that moisture.
Folding it back was easy, as the folds from before were already indented into it.
I love love love this picnic blanket. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it or wishes for improvements.
