My kids and I had a lot of fun making fun animals, flowers and other origami creations with the Orchid origami paper. The origami paper is square shaped, so it's a good base for most things you'd want to create. I like that the pack comes with so much paper (500 sheets) and so many colors. The colors are bright and make great contrast with the different shapes.
We made some fun animals and they weren't all perfect, but that is part of the fun of practicing your origami skill and another great reason that there are so many sheets. You quickly turn into a perfectionist, trying to make sure every angle is perfect and the folds are just right. I had a pink tulip with green stem that was I was pretty proud of. We made a ton of different things and we still have a ton more paper to play with. I would highly recommend, especially for a fun indoor activity with the kids.
