A great set of sheets can make all the difference for a good night's rest. I really enjoy sheets that are soft but cool at the same time. 

Given the opportunity to try out these Yorkshire Mayfair sheets, I received exactly that. I received a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and 2 pillow cases in a plastic zippered pouch. 

The sheet set I received is a sort of lime green color and to be honest, I didn't fall in love right away. It's so far away from the color schemes that I normally choose. The fabric has a sateen look to it and is incredibly soft. (500 thread count)

We have a pillowtop mattress and usually have to get special sheets to fit the deep pockets. The fitted sheet fit perfectly, as it is meant to fit up to 16 inches. It really couldn't have fit any better. It's snug but not so tight that it was creep off the edges. 

The thing I love most is the cool feel to them. When you are laying in bed, you can move a little to get that cool feeling but it's thick enough that if you stay put, it will keep you warm. I washed on medium and dried in the dryer. They came out very soft. My daughter left them in a basket, so they did wrinkle a bit and the wrinkles did remain, but I'm not overly concerned about that. One thing to note is that in the drying process, I did use a fabric softening sheet, but they still attracted some fuzz and lint. I just gave it a quick rub with a lint roller and we are good to go. 

The color that I wasn't sure of has grown on me. I don't have any comforters that I believed matched it, but it actually compliments my red/black/white comforter really well. I was pleasantly surprised.
