March 17th is the day to paint the town green and celebrate the Irish culture. Whether you’re of Irish descent or not, you’ve likely heard of and even participated in a famed Irish tradition by ducking out of a party, social gathering or very bad date without bidding farewell. While this may exhibit poor etiquette, an Irish Goodbye sure does make for a fun inspiration to a delicious St. Patrick’s Day cocktail.
This St. Patty’s Day, celebrate like you’re in a Dublin pub with the Irish Goodbye recipe. Drop a .75oz. shot of Smirnoff Kissed Caramel vodka into an 8oz. glass of hard apple cider and hold onto your shamrocks (and your manners)!
I started my morning off on the right foot, with this Irish Goodbye recipe. I wouldn't have thought of adding a caramel flavored liquor into apple cider, but the result is amazing. The hard apple cider grabs you right away and finishes off with that caramel flavor. Very yummy, and yes, I'll have another. As a matter of fact, this may just be a regular drink, on any old day, not just St. Patty's Day.
It won't take many of these to get you in the right frame of mind to party on St. Patty's Day!!
