I've reviewed a couple of different types of MeasuPro products and have been very pleased. This thermometer is quick and so easy to use. Putting it to use is as quick as turning it on and pushing the probe into the meat / food. Voila, you have the temperature right away. The packaging says it takes 6 seconds and I leave it there for that long in case there is any change. It is waterproof, so no worries about dropping it food or liquid. It cleans up really easily, allowing you to use it in the dishwasher.
I was most intrigued by the metal clip thing at the top .It took me a minute to figure out what that was for and how to use it. You take the cap that goes over the probe and clip it onto/ under the metal piece. This way you can use it as an extender for the handle.
I am very pleased with the digital waterproof thermometer. I can see myself using this for candies, or food that is more liquidy. I have an awesome MeasuPro probe meat thermometer already for meats.
