0 Yoplait and KitchenAid blender Review and Giveaway Ends 02-10

I am so excited about this promotion. I love Yoplait and I love KitchenAid! They are pairing up to bring you Yoplait smoothies. You can find the smoothie mix in your grocer's freezer section.

They have 4 flavors to choose from: Blueberry Pomegranate, Strawberry Banana, Strawberry Mango Pineapple, Triple Berry. At 110 calories per serving, they make a snack that is not only delicious, but can fit into your diet easily. When I was sent a coupon for a free package to review, I had a hard time choosing. They all looked so great and I stood in front of the freezer section playing eenie-meenie-miney-mo until I narrowed it down to the Strawberry Banana. I'd only gotten the one package of smoothie mix. Hindsight prevails again...I should have gotten more than one package right then.

KitchenAid also came along for the ride. I got to try out my new Yoplait smoothies in a new KitchenAid 3-speed blender. That's fantastic! The blender is a little taller than my old one. It has a big base which makes it sit up higher. The top is made of a thick glass with a bendable top that fits nicely. This blender is high quality all-around. It's KitchenAid, so the quality isn't even questionable in my book. It has 3 speeds (Low, Med, High),  a chop ice setting, and best of all, a smoothie setting.

I emptied the Strawberry Banana Yoplait package into the blender, added milk and hit the smoothie button. It doesn't get much easier than that. They turned out great. Here's that pesky hindsight...I only brought home the one package which makes 2 servings. Between 2 adults and 3 kids, that didn't go far, but we all got to try it. Everyone loved it and wanted more. These would make a great snack for the kids after school or if you're like me and don't do breakfast, this would make a great on-the-go breakfast that I can drink on the way to work. Next time I buy them, I'm going to buy at least 3 packages and try out the other flavors too.
