0 Sun and Earth Review and Giveaway 01-26

Sun & Earth provides cleaning products to you that are free from all of the harsh chemicals that you find in other cleaning products. Their products are non-toxic and made from coconut and orange oils. This is a great alternative, especially if you are sensitive to the chemicals that other products have. 

Well, it's the day after Christmas and I'm trying to get my house back in order. My first order of business is cleaning! I spent the morning cleaning and tried out my new Sun & Earth cleaning products.  I have the pleasure of reviewing 5 of their products. I am going to list each one separately because each one deserves their own time on the soap box, so to speak :)  

Sun & Earth 2x Concentrated Laundry Detergent 
I've actually been using this all week, since the day it came in the mail. The lid has deep grooves in it for a better grip. If you have a weak grip, you may want to use a cloth or something to cover, as the grooves might hurt your hand. That's my case, anyway. I have trouble opening just about everything. Once you open it, the smell is wonderful. It has a citrus scent. There is no fill line, that I'm used to seeing. The directions leave it open, using 1/4 cap for High Effeciency , 1/2 cap for regular washers. A little less for a smaller load, a little more for a larger load. I used about half a cap for every load and they all turned out great. Even when you are loading them from the washer to the dryer, they still have that citrus scent. 

  Sun & Earth Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets 
 I've also been using these for about a week with each load that I used the laundry soap with. These are unlike any dryer sheet that I've seen. The texture is like a hard paper towel. They have a citrus scent but are also available in unscented. One great thing about these is that they are 100% biodegradable. They will completely biodegrade in only 21 days. That's amazing! Sun & Earth Liquid Hand Soap
This hand soap works great. Mine is hanging out in the main bathroom at the sink. The texture is just right, not too thick, not too liquid-ee. It has the same great citrus scent as you are washing your hands, but the scent doesn't linger after you're done. It is hypoallergenic that is ideal for sensitive skin. 

Sun & Earth All Purpose Spray CleanerThis cleaner is great for any surface. I focused my cleaning in the bathroom but tried it on the kitchen also. I used it on all the surfaces. When it comes to cleaning soap scum and dirt from the tub, I had to give it a little more elbow grease. The alternative cleaner that I'm used to using has much more cleaning power, but the smell is so powerful it will make me nauseous. With this cleaner, I don't have to worry about the smell, because it's that great citrus scent that is refreshing to smell while cleaning. That's a trade I'm glad to take. All other surfaces were a breeze with the all purpose spray. Even though it didn't list mirrors on the bottle, I tried it on the mirror and wiped it with a paper towel. It had a streak-free shine that was fantastic. Now I don't have to bring my separate glass cleaner in there with me.

Sun & Earth Concentrated Floor Cleaner
This was very easy to use. You only have to use 2 to 4 oz of cleaner to a gallon of water. I don't actually use a mop, so I filled the sink with water and put a bit of cleaner in there. I used a sponge to clean the bathroom floor. It did a great job. I didn't have to scrub at all, it wiped clean with each swipe. I only had to go over the floor once. There was not sticky residue that you can find with other cleaners and have to go back over again with a "rinse" mop. 










Overall, I am thrilled at the chance to own these cleaning products and so very pleased with their performance. There will still be a need for a couple of my own staple cleaning products that I have my own personal attachment to, however these are now a part of my cleaning regimen.
