0 Around the Table Games Review and Giveaway Ends 01-10

Around the Table has a variety of games that aspire to get your family talking. With questions on each card, attached together with a carabiner. It is portable and tons of fun for your family.

We live in the more rural part of our county and it takes 20 to 30 minutes to get anywhere, grocery store, restaurant and about an hour to get to a Target or a mall. Not to mention all of the time we spend sitting at each child's bus stop waiting. Needless to say, we are in the car a lot. I'm always trying to find ways to entertain the kids while in the car. Otherwise, they just fight and complain the entire time.
I was letting them color in coloring books in the car until I had a melted crayon in the seat, then crayons were banned forever. Now we stick to games and I try to find activity books that they can play while I make sure they only bring a pencil into the car.

Around the Table games are available in different themes.
  • Family Talk (also have a bilingual version)
  • Family Talk 2
  • Buddy Talk (also have a bilingual version)
  • Teen Talk
  • Grandparent Talk
  • Camp Talk
The questions are a little different with each one. I was sent the Family Talk and the Buddy Talk games.

Both of these games were a big hit. I played them with my daughter who is almost 8 and my son who is 11. It's fun to get them talking, especially as they are getting into the age of wanting independence and I (being the mom and all....) am starting to lose some cool points and getting the kids to talk openly with me is a chore some of the time. I pretty much keep these games in the car and we can play them in the car, or when we go to grandma's house or a friend's house to visit, the cards come along. The kids were both very excited about these and my daughter follows me around asking me questions from them.

You should try the games out, start some conversations of your own. You'll enjoy and be surprised by some of the answers you'll hear.
