My take on it:

This is exactly what we needed! There is so little room for storage and these allow me store things under my bed. Up to this point, I was putting shoes under my bed, but you'd have to rummage through and fish the shoes out blindly. Now with these risers, I can actually put storage containers under my bed. I have these rubbermaid 30 qt storage totes that fit great.
To "install", it's as easy as lifting up the corner of the bed and placing the riser under the post or wheel. We have a queen size bed and I needed a little assistance lifting the bed. The indentation in the top of the riser allows the wheel to fit in it security and it will not roll around.
I haven't had any problems with the risers breaking at all. I have to say that climbing up into the bed with it being so high is an adjustment and I am still debating whether I like the bed that high but for storage sake, this product is amazing.
