This was quite an experience for me. I do not have the greatest skin. It's blotchy, scarred and I have large pores in spots. Needless to say, it could use a little TLC. I decided to give the Petunia Derma Roller a shot. Going in, I was a little terrified at the idea of rolling needles on my face and honestly have been putting off this review because of that fact.
I braved it and realized that it is not that bad. I had gotten myself worked up over nothing. I rolled it at a level where I could feel it, but I did not press hard enough to draw blood or truly hurt myself. I used the directions on the box and rolled it in the directional patterns 10 times each way. I like that the box includes very detailed instructions on cleaning and using the product.
After rolling, my face still stings a bit, like it does when you get a sunburn. Even though I can feel it, there isn't any immediate difference, or adverse effects.
The next day, I have zero pain and don't even notice any difference in the feel to my face. When looking at the pics, I do notice the splotchy-ness is reduced.
It recommends to do it every 3-4 weeks for your face, so I will be keeping up with it.
