0 Uglee Pen Review

"The Ultimate Grip Pen by Dr. James Lee is a revolutionary ergonomic pen that is designed, created and used by a real physician. This Dr. inspired grip pen is redefining the way people view ergonomic pens. Try the UGLee Pen, you will love it."

The type of pen you write with completely sets the mood for how your writing looks on paper. Have you ever noticed that with an uncomfortable pen, your writing is all scribbly or chicken-scratch? At least speaking for me, I have the best handwriting when I have a nice comfy pen that writes smoothly. I'm also one of those people that stay with what I know. I love trying out new things and along the way I come accross products that I fall in love with.

I was very curious when sent a pitch to review these pens. The Uglee pen is different than any other pen that I've tried in the past. I did fall in love with them. Right away I noticed how light the pens are. Only 11 oz.!
You'd think that they were named after their unusual style- Uglee pen, as it's not the most attractive pen out there with the funky grip. The name is actually short for Ultimate Grip pen by Dr. Lee. Hence, Uglee Pen.
The grip is the most interesting concept. It reminds me of those little sticky guys and sticky hands that you slap against the wall or in my case, at my brother, LOL. Even though the material is spongy like that, they aren't sticky. When I first started using them, I was being very careful not to allow them to get dirty, because I thought that everything would stick to them, like those little sticky hands. Surprisingly, they aren't. I fish around for them in the bottom of my purse and no problems at all.
I love the smooth ink flow. They are in blue ink, which is a con in my case, since all of my paperwork at work has to be in black ink. I only get to use my Uglee pens for non-work stuff, but I absolutely love the way they write. With the grip and ink the way they are, my handwriting is more bubbly and I tend to write more in cursive when I use them.
There are more colors available and you can order refills for the ink. I have my eye on the pink Uglee pen and want to get myself some black ink cartridge refills. You can get a 3 pack of Uglee pens for $19.99 + $3.95 S & H and Each pack of 10 ultra smooth ink cartridges costs $15.00 + $2.95 S & H.
