This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
TracFone is a pay-as-you-go cell phone. You buy the phone, then you buy the minutes. It's great if you don't want to be stuck in a phone contract.
I am almost to the point where I'd want my son to have a cell phone. He is entering his teens and I'd love to be able to call him while he's away from me or make him check in. Especially over the summer, I think TracFone would be a great idea. Because of the low cost, it won't break your wallet either.
In addition to not having to deal with contracts, there are no credit checks, no activation charges, or cancellation fees. It's convenient to buy more minutes when they run out, the pay-as-you-go cards are available at thousands of retail stores accross the country. They also have service plans to get more minutes for your money if that is something you are interested in. Tracfone is the only wireless service that doesn't charge extra for international long distance, so if you have family and friends internationally, you might want to get a TracFone to communicate with them.

My son's best friend moved to Canada a few months ago and thanks to his Tracfone plan he's been able to stay in contact once a week or so and it hasn't broken our budget. As Mark is 16 now we put him on the $19.99 plan/90 days /120 minutes plan (if you have double minutes for life). My younger 2 boys get the 40 minutes from the family value plan for $5.99 ea and I get the 50 minutes for $9.99. I recommend this family plan to you mom's out there, it's a real budget friend.
ReplyDeleteI had never considered getting a Tracphone but the value of it must be considered. If you have poor credit, there's no contract and no bills. If you don't make a lot of calls, it's also worth having, as you only pay for the calls. Nice value there!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think you need to fix the html below your post. It looks like you're trying to post a video and you need to enter the html in the correct way.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, I think your on to something with Tracefone. Remind me again why we pay so much to use a phone and get a bill and sign a contract?
At least with Tracfone, you never get a bill and that is a good thing to consider if you want to save!
Bulletin: Track now has tripling minutes! I saw it on HSN and also on there website, so now it's an even better value.
ReplyDeleteWith the great coverage and low cost, you gotta love it. Nothing fancy but whoever your talking to won't know the diffrence, right. LOL!
