I got the opportunity to try out the Baked Classics from Classic Foods, Inc. I was sent one of each of their three flavors and enjoyed the flavors and texture of each. The texture is much different than any other kind of chip. They are circles of light, fluffy chip. I'm even wanting to describe them as flat chip poofs. Here's a pic below to show you the texture.
The Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper: At 110 calories, the snack is has both salt and pepper to season. I enjoyed this very much. The pepper was much more apparent than any other chip that I've tried. Where I enjoyed it, my children didn't care for this one because of the pepper taste.
Mesquite BBQ: At 110 calories, this snack is almost what you'd expect from a BBQ chip. It's just the right amount of sweet and tangy.
Vanilla Frosting: At 120 calories, these are the same type of light poofy base chip but have a frosting powder on them to add sweetness. Out of the three, these were definitely my favorite and I'm so glad they sent me several bags.
I found all three to be very good and I'm so glad that I got to try them. The small bags make a perfect addition to an on-the-go bag. I always try to pack some sort of snack so that the kids can munch on them instead of asking to buy food while we're out. The kids loved the vanilla frosting ones the best also.
Classic Foods also carries Kettle Classics, Stoned Classics, and California Classics. Check out Classic Foods and you can buy them online through Amazon.com.
