Available in many different shapes and sizes, you can shop for what appeals to you.
Some are in fun shapes that appeal to the kids, some have functional aspects included like the ones with the foot buffer, and different sizes such as the travel size for convenience.
I was sent the Spongeables 4 in 1 Lavendar nectar with buffer in two sizes. (full size good for at least 20 showers and the travel size good for at least 5 showers) This is yet another one of those genius ideas that I'm amazed hasn't been on the market sooner. It is completely functional and fought my skepticism like a champ.
I was pleased with the scent. It is Lavender which can sometimes be overpowering for me in bath products, but I did rather enjoy the scent. When I first opened it, it does feel like a sponge that has been soaking in soap. With the first washing, it did take a little coaxing to get the lather going but very nice once I did. It does seem to lather off in moderation to actually last the amount of time that it is advertised to.
I started off with the travel size one and I have already used it for 5 showers and there is still hints of soap there. The buffer was a confusion for me at first then a blessing. When I first started using it, I actually started washing with the coarse buffer side and was wondering what the hell kind of crazy soap I had gotten myself and then I realized what that was for. The soft sponge side does a phenomenal job for washing your body and I use the buffer side for my feet where the dirt and dead skin always seem to be harder to wash. The buffer works perfect for that, like right by your ankle and heel. Yep, you know what I'm talking about.
Once my soap was all out of my sponge, I kept on using it. I kept the travel sized one in my shower and will use it to clean with. These would make a fantastic addition to a gift basket for just about any occasion.
While reading their site, another tip caught my eye. I have never been on an airplane so I didn't even think about this on my own but you could bring your Spongeables with you when you travel.
