0 Word Q and Speak Q software Review and Giveaway Ends 05-01

Enhance your writing through state of the art software that uses voice recognition and spoken feedback to help you get your ideas typed and to read text aloud to you. WordQ+SpeakQ was designed for struggling writers (i.e., - those with learning differences, dyslexia, people with limited mobility, etc.) and great for student aged kids to write those essays and reports.
"WordQ+SpeakQ is the first and only writing tool that integrates word prediction, spoken feedback, and speech recognition. Designed specifically for those who struggle with other dictation software. Type the words you know and speak the words you don’t without interrupting your writing. Brainstorm out loud and have WordQ+SpeakQ jot down your ideas. And no reading is required to train it."
This is a simple program that helps you enhance your writing. Especially if you are a struggling writer and may have difficulties typing alone. This program can have a profound effect on your ability to communicate through your computer. It gives you the option to listen to the computer read text aloud to you, so you can listen to that while you are doing other things on your computer. The feature that I find the most interesting is that it types words as you speak them onto a document. This is especially helpful for people who write often.
"The SpeakQ plug-in
  • Lets you type the words you know and speak the ones you don’t
  • Can write everything you say from single words to entire paragraphs
  • Offers suggestions for words you have difficulty pronouncing
  • Train it to understand your voice, with no reading required
  • More tolerant of accents and speech difficulties than other software
  • Allows you to mix typing and speaking for best results
  • No voice commands to remember or distract
  • Now includes English, French, Spanish and German*
 SpeakQ requires WordQ."

I know a lot of my readers are also bloggers and do a fair amount of typing. This would also be good for students that need to get their essay or report done. My son is 11 and constantly having papers that are due. I haven't been pushing this program toward him necessarily, because I'm trying to get him to type the proper way so he can get faster at it. Every time I'm not looking, he goes back to the peck-typing.
"WordQ+SpeakQ was designed with only the most essential functions to enable just about anyone to write, edit and proofread with ease. The interface displays a handful of powerful buttons that can be accessed through hotkeys or the mouse."
I got a little off-track, but my point was for even a child of his age, I can see how this program could help get those reports done. When you first install the program, and try it out, it seems like you are spending a little more time correcting the program than you would if you just typed it. The great thing about this software is that it has a training module built in, so that you can train it to recognize how you say the words and you won't have to stop as often to fix a word. It was even picking up my mumbling that I call speaking which is amazing. My hubby always picks fun at me when I mumble, he comes at me with "....and you speak for a living?' with a chuckle.
You do have to invest a little time into the speaking application to get it to recognize your pronunciation habits, but I really enjoy using this software. I also use the software to read a excerpt or web page aloud to me while doing something else at my computer desk.
One great feature about this is you can chat live with customer service if you encounter a problem or have a question and they have video tutorials to walk you through any questions you may have as well.
Buy it here:  A free 30 day trial is available here. You can purchase the software for $279 from their website
