0 Star Kids Snack & Play Review and Giveaway Ends 01-17

Star Kids has a great product that is sure to make life a little easier for you moms out there. The Snack n Play travel tray is a convenient tray that your child can use in the car or on the go.

One of the most difficult mommy tasks is juggling more than one thing at once. For instance, driving the car and trying to get something from the floorboard that your child dropped...or having to pull over to get a sippy or bottle that dropped out of reach.

The Snack n Play travel tray comes in a zipped pouch folded in half. You unfold and put on top of a lap, carseat, or stroller. There are mesh pockets on either side where you can put pencils, snacks, sippy cups, books, etc. It comes with a strap that attaches around your child, carseat or stroller to keep it from slipping off. This is an especially nice feature for the carseat and stroller.

My kids like to draw pictures and read while in the car. This is great to keep those colored pencils from rolling off onto the floor and you can prop your book onto it while reading. My kids are a little older, so they can pretty much only use it while sitting on their laps. It functions well.  When you first unfold it, the crease is very apparent and writing on it is a little more difficult. The longer it is out of the pouch, it starts to even out and make for a smoother surface. With my kids, they preferred not to have the strap attached to them and just rested it on their laps.

I wanted to test it out with a baby, so I put my friend and her little one to work. I passed it on to them so she could try it out. Here's her take on it:
At my first look at the directions of the tray I was a little sketchy about strapping this tray around the body of my child.  But after a few easy adjustments of the strap, the tray sat perfectly on top of the stroller.  The strap going around my daughters back didn't seem to bother her a bit.  During our walk the tray held toys and bottles in place perfectly. Even when going up or down curbs, we did not have any items go over board. The two storage pockets on the sides are a great idea for some little grab and go toys or snacks.  I haven't put it to the test yet, but I could see Elijah (5 yoa)  getting a lot of use out of this tray for coloring on car rides.  This is a versatile product that kids of all ages will be able to benefit from.

Thank you so much Keri and baby Aubriana for helping test this product out.

Star Kids also sells a travel Air Play tray table cover. If you intend on flying somewhere that may interest you also.
