I have just discovered Canon's paper craft section.

They have amazing things you can print out and make. What caught my eye were the calendars and the 3D animals, buildings, ships, etc. There is really so much there. Here's a few pics that I liked the most. You just download the FREE PDF file, print it out and create. I am so excited about this. I want to make the perpetual calendar.

And they are all made from paper. Some are truly amazing. They have some elaborate ships and such there also. This might be a good activity for the kids. There's easier ones and more difficult. My son loves building with Knex and such. He'd like the more challenging ones like the ship or the Santa on the sleigh.
