2 Build A Dream Review and Giveaway Ends 08-17

Never underestimate the power of imagination. Remember making playhouses out of cardboard boxes and how many hours you spent playing in them? Build a Dream playhouses takes that concept to the next level and helps you create that memory.

I first saw the Build a Dream playhouses on another blog and thought that it was such a fun idea. It brought back memories from my childhood and made me want one so badly for my daughter. She is 8 and loves to use her imagination. It's adorable watching her play sometimes.
 About Build A Dream:
"The cardboard box has been an outlet for children’s creativity for years. We have yet to find an adult that cannot recollect a childhood memory of playing in a box. From traveling through time, to flying through space, to sailing the open seas, a child’s imagination allows a cardboard box to transcend all that is material. THAT is the essence of Build a Dream Playhouses.™
We believe that imaginative play is absolutely critical to the developing minds of children. That is why we created a line of products centered on creativity and imagination. We supply the blank canvas for children to paint their dreams. It is truly amazing to continuously see our products transform into unique, one-of-a-kind playhouses. Cardboard allows our products to be colored, painted, decorated, and customized to please every child’s dreams. Corrugated cardboard is also extremely durable and safe for children. Each and every product is tested to conform to the standards of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). We have also gone the extra mile to do testing not mandated by law to further ensure the safety of our products that we bring to market. In addition to the commitment that we have to our valued customers, we also feel that as a company we have a commitment to our environment. Our products are manufactured from 80% recycled materials that result in an end product that is 100% recyclable. Our distribution center is located only 38 miles away from our manufacturer, which drastically reduces the fuel consumption required to ship our products."
They have 6 different styles to choose from:
When given the opportunity to pick one out to review, I was torn between the kitchen and the castle. When I was little, I'd have so much fun playing princess in the castle. We have to live vicariously through our kids now with this stuff, so I let my daughter pick out which one she wanted. She went for the pop n play kitchen.

It came to our front door flat inside it's own cardboard box. You simply open it up and pop up your playhouse. It is so simple to set up. My daughter went straight to her little dishes and plastic food to start playing with it. We had some family over that night and her younger cousin had even more fun playing with it.
The next step is going to be to decorate it. It came out of the box white as you can see. Now she can use that imagination of hers to design it. That is right up her alley, too. I am very pleased with the Build a Dream playhouse. It was a lot easier to put up than I expected and it gives my daughter so much joy.
The only thing that was stopping me from getting it before is the price. The prices range from $40 to $60 which is a little steep for me and my cheap self. I could definitely see spending the money if you have a group of children to entertain or a party. My daughter wants to do a princess sleepover and is begging me to get the castle one now.  I just might give in and get it for her. They are pretty awesome.
