In regards to the truvia. I am not completely sold on sweeteners in general. People say that once you get used to them, you won't go back to regular sugar. I just can't get over that hump. In the cranberry juice, the truvia is barely noticeable. It doesn't give that sweetener aftertaste. I've used straight Truvia in tea and other drinks and it's the best of the natural sweeteners.

If you have kids, you know about colds. It seems as moms, we're always trying to nurse runny noses and sore throats. I've recently been introduced to Coldcalm pellets. This is different than any other cold symptom medicine that I've seen because of the delivery through pellets that dissolve in the child's mouth. Coldcalm pellets temporarily relieves cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny noses, nasal congestion, and minor sore throat.

We tried it out, my daughter and I both tried one just to test out the taste. Neither one of use have colds, so we can only test the taste at this point. Good news is that we loved the taste. Usually with medicine, a positive review is that it didn't taste terrible or that it is tolerable. With Coldcal pellets, they actually taste like candy. It's amazing. When I asked my daughter if she thought they tasted like candy, she said "Yeah, but much little-er" with a serious look on her face like that had to be mentioned. Then a few minutes later, she asked if she could have some more candy. That's a good sign that when she does get sick, I won't have any problems giving her Coldcalm pellets.

0 Randomness!
I'm doin a little bit of blog hoppin this morning. Kids are out of school and arguing like crazy. I don't have work today which is awesome but hubby has to work later. I've got 3 reviews to write up and will get to that this afternoon. I had to work yesterday on Thanksgiving so didn't get to spend it with my family but my work family pulled together a great meal and I was stuffed with yummy food. Now I wish I had some more turkey though. So Yum!
I've been working pretty hard at getting my name out there in the blog world and so excited about getting review opportunites and more importantly giveaway opportunities for the readers. There are some great ones coming up and have been trying to get my stats up so that I can get other companies to consider me but it is a slow process.
It's paying off though. Now I have even more giveaways coming to you. I tried to make the entering process easier by using the form instead of seperate comments and made it so that you only have to enter the form once.
I know I hate when I have to sit at someone's site for an hour or more entering their giveaways....especially when there are captcha messages or get the dreaded "you're posting too quickly" messages. I will usually do it though because I truly do love the blogs and love the chance to win the giveaways, even though I will get frustrated and give up sometimes if the site is giving me too many error messages or locking up. I had a lot of fun looking through the shirts to pick out the one to review. The ones that caught my eye from this site in my price range were the “Choose Your Weapon” shirt and the “Tommy Boy” shirt that reads Callahan motors on it.
The one I chose for my review was the “Choose your Weapon” shirt that has 3 little stick figure guys on it, and thought bubbles that have Rock, Paper and Scissors, with choose your weapon written on it. I think it is absolutely adorable. The fit is very similar to the fit of the Costume Squad Tee. Again, this one is a darker color, so less chance of noticeable stains. I seem to be prone to a lot of messes and spills between the kids being closeby and just my own random clumsiness. The material is super-soft, thinner than your average T-Shirt. The fit and neck line are great for me, all-be-it a little snug. The one I chose was a Women’s XL. If you are a little larger, you may want to go with a men’s size.
I’m equally as pleased with this shirt as the others and would recommend it to others. I plan to wear it all the time.

If only I'd had them labelled, then I wouldn't have had to go through all that. Kid's name labels are becoming more and more popular and I am a big fan.

0 Dropps Review
I keep seeing Dropps Laundry pacs and intrigued by the compact design. After contacting them, Dropps offered to send me a sample pack of 2 to review. They are about the same size as the gel packs that you use in the dishwasher. The whole load of laundry soap packed into a little gel pack.
I love the concept. No measuring out laundry soap and it is so compact. If you are like me and lose the little cup in my loads of laundry, you'd appreciate that too. LoL. If you trek your clothes to a laundromat, this would be more convenient than hauling around a container of liquid laundry soap. I only tried out the two samples that I received, but the two loads were filled to Super load size and the Laundry soap held it's own. The laundry came out smelling great and were clean and soft.
This product is fantastic. I'll be sure to keep my eye out when going to the store. You should too.

Here's a fun new activity for your child. Storyland Yoga is by Playful Planet. It's an interactive yoga DVD for children, targeted to ages 3 to 8. It's so important to keep kids active and this will help (at least 20 minutes at a time, LoL)
I have a 7 year old and asked her if she wanted to try it out. She is so full of energy. She constantly has to be moving and doesn't know how to just still for 5 seconds. Needless to say, I wish I had her energy. When I was presented with this Storyland Yoga, I wasn't sure if she'd even be able to sit through a 20 minute session but we gave it a shot.
The storyline is absolutely adorable. The Instructor, Ahmed Fahmy is incredible with the children and I was even entertained as they went through the storyline. He had the children doing yoga poses as they acted out being different animals and doing activities as simple as rowing and putting on suntan lotion.
The activity we tried first was the Condor Trek which is 23:10 mins long. My daughter did the entire thing before going to school this morning. It's funny some of the poses she was getting her body into. I wish I was that flexible! She had such a great time doing the activities and being involved in the story.
This is a fantastic DVD that we are going to start a Yoga regimen before and / or after school. I urge you to try it out also with your little ones. I know mine loved it and hope yours will too.

0 Head Chefs Review
I have a new product line to share with everyone. The name of the company is Head Chefs and they are a collection of 17 character based utensils that make it fun to learn while helping you prepare meals.
This is a fantastic product line that even as an adult I got very excited about.
The utensils that I received were the ice cream bowl, measuring spoon, spatula, knife, and spoon.
They are made of a silicone material and flexible. The little arms and legs can move and bend into different positions and the feet have a suction cup effect and can stick to the counter, table, etc. One of our favorite things about them is the belly button and the little butt. I got such a kick out of that, probably more than my kids. LoL. They also came with a music video DVD.
The thing is that my youngest is 7 and although she thought they were absolutely adorable, she was a little old for them and past the age where she gets enjoyment out of "playing" with toys like that. (On a side note, it makes me a little sad with each milestone we hit like this that my children have gotten so big that they are "too old" to play with certain toys that even as an adult, I have a blast playing with. Maybe I'm just a big kid at heart)
I have a solution though. My friend Will has a little one named Ethan who is 3 years old, so I graciously donated the utensils to him, so he could get joy out of playing with them. Here is a picture of little Ethan with them. How cute is that?! My friend says that he loves them so much that he doesn't put them down. Ethan had always been eager to help out in the kitchen but now with these, he gets very excited about making meals and helping. Little Ethan was given a cookie and was having a great time exploring a little independence using the kid-friendly Head Chefs knife to cut the cookie up before he ate it.
It makes me miss the times when my children were that little. I have to admit here that I completely misread the letter that was sent with the products and that what was sent to me were for review and giveaway purposes, however I had already given them to little Ethan, so can only complete this post as a review only. Full Disclosure is in order here and I do feel badly my misunderstanding.
I do have another little nephew, Zach who is 4 years old, who I just may have to buy some for Xmas because these are absolutely adorable. I recommend you check them out.
